Tecnopool supports sustainable mobility projects to reduce its carbon footprint. On the occasion of Earth Day, the company reaffirms that all employees will use sustainable means of air transport for their business trips.

From improving the energy efficiency of its factories to investing in renewable energy, Tecnopool is committed to reducing its environmental impact. In line with this mission, the company has chosen to support the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) corporate programme of major airlines. These partnerships reflect Tecnopool's core values, underlining its commitment to a more sustainable future. Although travel is essential for customer meetings, sales events, installations and service, the company is committed to reducing the carbon footprint associated with these activities. By exploring alternatives to face-to-face meetings and adopting environmentally friendly means of transport, the company is actively working to decrease the environmental impact of its operations.

Corporate SAF programmes, specifically designed to meet the needs of corporate clients, allow companies to calculate the carbon footprint of their travel
emissions from their travel and make an annual contribution to support this initiative. The financial resources provided to airlines are fully invested in promoting the production and use of sustainable aviation fuels. These fuels, made from waste oil, forest residues and other recyclable sources, provide a significant 80 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional fossil fuels.

In 2023, Tecnopool participated in Air-France KLM's Corporate programme, purchasing 5 tonnes of SAF. Thanks to this more sustainable fuel, carbon emissions decrease by 75% compared to traditional fossil paraffin. As a result, Tecnopool reduced its CO2 emissions from air travel by 10.8 tonnes.
